Rollovers and pending requests

Nothing in a PAMM strategy happens the instant you press a button. Investments, withdrawals and requests to leave all wait for the strategy’s next rollover, and are processed together then.

At a rollover the strategy:

  1. records an official unit price,
  2. turns waiting investments into units, and
  3. pays out waiting withdrawals at that unit price.

Withdrawals then land in your wallet, which can take a few minutes after the rollover itself.

When is the next rollover?

Each strategy shows its schedule on its page, for example Daily at 21:00 UTC. Rollover times in Portal are always in UTC, so convert to your own time zone if you’re cutting it close.

Some strategies are set to Manual. Those roll over when the manager runs it, not on a clock. The manager of a scheduled strategy can also run an extra rollover between scheduled ones.

The freeze window

A scheduled strategy stops taking requests for its next rollover a short time beforehand, for example 15 minutes. This is the freeze window.

  • A request you make during the freeze window waits for the rollover after.
  • A request that’s already waiting can’t be cancelled once the freeze window starts.

Checking and cancelling

Everything waiting for a rollover is under My investments → Pending. Each row shows whether it’s an investment or a withdrawal, the amount, and when it’s scheduled to be processed.

Open Pending requests

You can Cancel a request until the freeze window starts.

  • Cancelling an investment releases the money that was set aside in your wallet.
  • Cancelling a withdrawal leaves your investment exactly as it was.

One withdrawal at a time

Only one withdrawal per investment account can be in progress. If one is already pending, wait for it to be processed or cancel it before asking for another.

Amounts before a rollover are estimates

Any amount Portal shows you before a rollover is an estimate based on the unit price at that moment. The real figure is set by the unit price at the rollover that processes your request, after any fees. If the strategy moves in between, so does your amount.
