Commission Calculator
Commission is the charge listed separately beside a deal. Whether you pay one depends on your account type and on what you are trading.

This is the published schedule applied to the value you entered. It is charged once on that value. Your trade history on the platform is the record of what a deal actually cost, with commission and swap itemised.
Trade value, not margin
The rates apply to the notional value of the position: the size of the thing you are trading, not the amount you put up for it. A 1 lot EURUSD position is around $108,500 of trade value even though the margin behind it might be a couple of hundred dollars.
The margin calculator gives you that figure if you are working from lots.
Pro and Standard
On a Pro account the cost is a separate line and the spread is left raw. On a Standard account there is no separate line and the cost sits in a wider spread. You are paying for the same thing either way, so a Standard result of zero here does not mean the trade was free.
Share CFDs are the exception. They carry the same commission on both account types.
The rates
| Instrument | Pro | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| FX, metals, indices, energies | $2.75 per $100,000 | In the spread |
| Cryptocurrency | 0.05% | In the spread |
| US share CFDs | 0.3% | 0.3% |
| European and Asian share CFDs | 0.45% | 0.45% |
