Withdrawing and leaving
There are three different things you can do, and they’re easy to mix up:

Withdrawing
- Go to My investments and open the investment.
- Under Amount to withdraw, type an amount in the strategy’s currency, or use MAX.
- Choose Review withdrawal, check it, and confirm.
Or choose Withdraw all to take out everything.
The amount you see is an estimate, worked out at the unit price right now. What you’re actually paid is set by the unit price at the rollover that processes your withdrawal, after any fees. If the strategy moves before then, your amount moves with it.
Your withdrawal waits under My investments → Pending until that rollover. After the rollover it’s paid to your wallet, usually within a few minutes. Until then you can cancel it, up to the start of the freeze window. See Rollovers and pending requests.
Only one withdrawal per investment can be in progress at a time. Don’t submit a second one while the first is still pending.
Uninvested: after Withdraw all
When a Withdraw all has been processed, the investment moves to My investments → Uninvested with 0 units. You haven’t left the strategy. Your investment account, its number and its statement are all still there.
From there you can either choose Invest again to put money back into the same investment account, or leave the strategy completely. Staying Uninvested costs nothing, so there’s no rush to do either.
Leaving a strategy
Leave fund is at the bottom of the investment page. What it does depends on whether you still hold units.
You hold 0 units (Uninvested). Choose Leave fund now. Your membership closes straight away. Nothing is paid out and nothing is charged.
You’re still invested. Choose Leave at next rollover. This queues a full withdrawal. At the next rollover your money is paid to your wallet and then your membership closes. As with any withdrawal, the amount is only final at that rollover.
Either way, the investment then moves to My investments → Closed, and its statements stay available there.
If leaving is refused
Portal won’t let you leave while something on that investment is still in progress: a request or payment that hasn’t settled yet, or a rollover that’s running right now. The message on screen says which. Wait for it to clear, then try again.
