Cashback

Cashback pays you back part of the cost of trading you have already done. It is not a bonus and you do not opt into it: either an offer covers your account or it does not, and when one does, the credits arrive on their own.

It sits under Earn in the portal, on the Cashback tab.

Where it comes from

Two sources, and the difference matters because only one of them is anything to do with XBTFX directly.

An introducing broker. An IB earns a rebate on the volume their referred clients trade, and they can choose to hand part of that rebate back. If you registered through an IB’s link and that IB has published a cashback offer, you receive it. The rate is theirs to set, per asset class, and so is how long the offer runs.

An XBTFX promotion. Broker run offers attached to an account or a campaign. When none is running, the tab says so plainly rather than leaving you to guess.

If the page reads no active offer and you expected one, the question is usually for whoever referred you rather than for support. Their offer has a duration, and it can expire.

Reading the tab

Four figures at the top:

Lifetime paid	Everything credited to you since you started, with a count of completed payouts
Pending payout	Calculated and waiting
Accumulating	Building up and not yet due
This month	The current month so far

Cashback activity below them is the credit by credit record, with Settlement history for how those credits were actually paid. Credits appear automatically. There is nothing to claim.

If you are an IB

Publishing an offer to your own referred clients is the other side of this page, and it is set up on the Cashback offer tab of the IB dashboard. You set a rate per asset class, capped at what you earn on that class, then choose how long the offer runs and how often it pays.

Your own cashback and your IB rebates are kept as separate balances. The portal does not net them against each other.

Cashback from an IB offer is paid into your USD wallet.
